You can apply for a UK Ancestry visa if you are a Commonwealth citizen, you can prove one of your grandparents was born in the UK, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man, you are able and planning to work in the UK and you meet the other eligibility requirements. A UK Ancestry visa currently costs £516. You may also have to pay the healthcare surcharge as part of your application. You can stay in the UK for 5 years on this visa after which you may be eligible for indefinite leave to remain.
